On Saturday 26 January, I booked a test drive through the Mazda MyWay system. We drove the CX-5 vehicle on Saturday afternoon and were both very impressed. We are likely to contract hire, but will definitely be sourcing the Mazda vehicle which was far superior to the Nissan, Kia and other vehicles I have considered.
What was more impressive was the customer service received from your team. Over the past few weeks we have visited several motor showrooms, with differing level of experiences. One was borderline stressful – the showroom had no parking and despite my making a fixed time appointment for a test drive, I was left waiting for almost an hour with not one sales representative taking the time to speak to me. Another experience was the other end of the scale – an extremely pushy salesman who thought I would make a vehicle purchase on the same day as the test drive.
The experience we had on Saturday was so refreshing. We are all very quick to criticise and make a complaint, but on this occasion I wanted to take the time to give positive feedback. Yaqub was polite, courteous, friendly and engaging, he knew about the vehicle we were driving and he also demonstrated a knowledge of similar vehicles on the market. I didn’t feel pressurised at any point of the test drive. He has followed up today with a professional and informative email explaining how the My Garage system enables me to configure a vehicle and obtain finance costings.He is an absolute credit to your company and I hope this is acknowledged in some way.
